Jeff was called to serve as Senior Pastor in November of 2007.

He married Dana in 1993 and they have one daughter, Hannah.

Vocation: Humboldt County Assessor, an elected position.

Ministries: Jeff served as a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, Sunday School Director, Worship Leader, Personnel Committee Chairman, Missions Committee member, Church Moderator, Discipleship Director and worked on the revision of the constitution and by-laws of First Baptist Church of Winnemucca and Quinn River Baptist Fellowship in McDermitt. He also serves in the Northeast Baptist Association as a member of the Credentials Committee and has served on the Sunday School Training Team. Jeff and his family traveled to McDermitt for three and a half years while he served as Interim Pastor for Quinn River Baptist Fellowship.

Jeff grew up in Texas, moving to Winnemucca in 1976 and graduated from Albert Lowry High School in 1978. 

Jeff's passion is for people and teaching them how to live and apply the Bible in their Christian life. He enjoys spending time with his family, and learns a great deal about his relationship to God through his family relationship. He would like for God to have free reign in and strongly manifest His glory through, the lives of His people at Grass Valley Baptist Church.

Education: Bachelor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
